"Let your light
so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Mat 5:16)
Do we all have lights shining about? Maybe for good and maybe for bad; I judge not. However as I studied this passage I noted the "good works" part and wondered just what He was trying to convey to me. I don't have any good works in the light of His Holiness, at least I don't think so; then could it be He is talking about "His Good Work in us," that those whom our influence touches will see that Work and come to Glorify the Father? I think so, too!
Lord help me to "show off" your Good Work in me to those I touch today, and be aware that it is happening!
